  • Abstract
    Even after minimisation, the Bott--Duffin transformerless synthesis requires the solution of a higher-order equation to obtain a certain parameter occurring in the augmentation factor. The present RLC synthesis for bicubic impedances merely needs, after minimisation, the solution of a 1st-order equation to accomplish a generalised continued-fraction realisation.
