Abstract :
An introduction to the real world of product safety liaison. As the ``World Market´´ matures, the stature of the safety liaison process increases in importance. Means for accelerating the regulatory process are detailed and pertinent standards are identified. The redesign of a domestic switching power supply to ``World Standards´´ is described.
