Abstract :
An efficient procedure for the design of nonrecursive digital filters with even and odd symmetry for the impulse response is presented. The algorithm that has been prograrmned obtains the minimax (Chebyshev) approximation for continuous frequency responses prescribed on several separate intervals. Examples of designed filters are added.
