Abstract
Concepts of isolation and discrimination are discussed in connection with frequency reuse on orthogonal polarisations. Using a simplified raindrop model, definitions that arise from these concepts are shown to be identical for propagation through raindrops with an axis of rotational symmetry. Measurements on an 11 GHz radio link confirm these predictions.
