Abstract :
The paper describes experimental work to investigate the feasibility of applying the open-loop interference cancellation technique to radar-type signals. Design of experimental equipment is described, and results of bench tests are presented. It is concluded that the open-loop system has some performance advantages over the closed-loop canceller but, with currently available components, lacks dynamic range and good wideband performance.
