Abstract :
A new analysis technique is proposed to take into account the finite DC gain and gain-bandwidth product of the operational amplifiers (OAs) on the response of switched-capacitor (SC) networks, operated by a biphase clock. The technique is simple, versatile and applicable to an SC network of any topology. Examples are given to illustrate the technique. As an application, all the parasitic insensitive SC biquadratic filters, bilinearly equivalent to their analogue counterparts, known to date, are compared using the proposed method. Extensive experimental tests were conducted. Results agree closely with theoretical predictions.
