  • Abstract
    Focal-region-field techniques can be used to determine the crosspolarisation performance of a front-fed paraboloidal antenna. Expressions are derived for the conditions that the aperture fields of a feed must satisfy to give low crosspolarisation. This extends the concept of a Huygens source to finite-aperture feeds.
