Abstract :
A new acoustooptic page composer based on Bragg imaging is described. Experimental results obtained by imaging a 4 by 5 array of acoustic transducers radiating into a water-filled acoustic cell are given. Optical efficiency of 30 percent is achieved with a risetime of 1.5 µs.
