Abstract
A novel dielectric waveguide is proposed for use in millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and a simple analysis for dispersion characteristics is developed. Numerical results agree reasonably with measured data. Radiation loss of this waveguide at curved sections are proven to be considerably Iess than those of the image guide. As an application of this waveguide, a leaky-wave radiator has been tested.
