  • Abstract
    A low-noise direct-form digital filter is introduced, where the error feedback path does not require extensive hardware and the accumulator wordlength is equal to the data wordlength. The method of realisation is a modification of the contents of the lookup table of the ROM-accumulator (ROM/ACC) structure. The contents of the ROM already contain the error feedback, and no additional hardware is necesary.
