    New data are presented on the scattering of the z-propagating Rayleigh wave on y-cut LiNbO3 by a metallic grating into the x-propagating Rayleigh wave, a pseudo-surface-wave, and bulk shear waves. Estimates of the magnitudes of the scattering coefficients are given
