  • Abstract
    We propose the use of binary masks to generate trains of femtosecond pulses with high-repetition rate and shaped envelope. Their relative simple design makes them useful for the generation of programmable binary code patterns. Furthermore, a variable temporal window for the pulse sequences is achieved. Some computer simulations are presented.
