  • Abstract
The author examines the feasibility of implementing energy recovery circuits for breech-fed, inductively driven railgun systems to improve overall efficiency during repetitive operation. Computer simulations are used to examine the effects of parameter variation and to determine limitations of the proposed system. Device limitations and availability are discussed. Design rules are formulated for the basic system
