Abstract :
Simple analytical expressions are derived for the magnetic torque on a magnetic crystal as a function of field intensity and orientation. The expressions, obtained by means of a recently introduced method of analytical continuation of series, are accurate enough in the whole range of physical parameters. This makes it possible to use them as universal curves for describing experimental results
