Abstract :
The classic problem of a current source near a permeable wedge is extended to include finite relative permeability. A method using Mellin transforms is presented, and asymptotic forms are derived for the neighborhood of the vertex and for infinite distances for general geometries and permeability. Exact flux distributions can be found for the dense class of wedges with angles equal to a rotational multiple of π. Examples are given for the practical case of the exterior of a square corner
