  • Abstract
    The authors present an original analysis of a slot-coupled microstrip antenna. The transmission line model uses previous expressions of conductance and susceptance due to the fringing fields near the edges of the patch; moreover, a simple interpretation of the different impedance transformations is given. Results based on the transmission line model are compared with other theoretical analyses (cavity model, moment method) and measurements.
