Abstract :
A multiuser microprocessor development system supported by the Unix operating system has been developed for undergraduate teaching. It is based on the design of a standard hardware target system module which can accommodate a number of different 8-bit microprocessors. The system has been designed to interface directly with a number of low-cost commercially available hardware cards based on the Acorn bus.
