A More Accurate Model of the TE/sub10/ Type Waveguide Mode in Suspended Substrate

Abstract :
An analytical model of the suspended substrate transmission Iine which includes the grooves used to support the substrate is presented. The model predicts a lower cutoff frequency of the TE 10 type waveguide mode than that without the grooves. The analysis is confirmed by experiments.
