Abstract :
Aiming at an easier design of dynamic optimal regulators for real processes, we consider a limiting case of known theory: the optimal regulator with a prescribed degree of stability. Under hypotheses that we establish, we obtain feedback gains which are solutions of a Lyapunov equation.
