Abstract :
The application of moment methods to the solution of finite phased-array antennas using waveguide elements is well known. To reduce the matrix size use is made of the ´edge condition´ to predict the amplitudes of the higher-order modes. Results are given for a single rectangular waveguide element showing the accuracy of this prediction.
