Abstract :
It is shown how to obtain lowpass filtered binary sequences with no amplitude skewing regardless of the time response of the filter. These sequences also approach true Gaussian sequences more closely than filtered m sequences in that the crosscorrelation between the sequence itself and the sequence squared is zero. A problem encountered in identifying the dynamics of industrial processes is posed, which may be related to previous work on skewing.
