Abstract
IP virtual private networks (IP VPNs) provide the emerging network and service opportunities for telecommunication operators such as BT. The use of intranets within businesses, coupled to the success and ubiquitous deployment of Internet and IP technologies, has generated a burgeoning demand for IP VPNs.
