Abstract :
The impedance of a quartz-crystal AT-plate resonator is shown to be a function of the efficiency of energy trapping in the resonator. Expressions for resonator inductance in terms of the electrode dimensions, plateback and resonance frequency are derived for a common type of resonator design.
