Abstract :
A method of design is given for transmission-line transformers operating up to the gigahertz region, using printed-circuit-board spiral lines which fit inside an RM core. Results of measurements on a 2:1 transformer made to this design and which has a passband from 150 kHz to 1 GHz are given.
