Abstract :
A procedure has been developed for the identification of a class of generalised transmission lines by starting from the measurement of the reflection coefficient at one port, while the other one is short circuited. The procedure is implemented on a small digital computer and uses the properties of the discrete Fourier transform and digital signal processing.
