Abstract :
The use of electromyography (EMG) to determine the cause of lower back pain is examined. The source and properties of the EMG signal and its analysis are discussed. The fatigue properties of back muscles and their role in back pain are considered. A typical back analysis system is described, and some study results are presented.<>
