Abstract :
The open-ring microstrip resonator is analyzed by utilizing the two-dimensional magnetic wall model. The solution and the numerical results for the eigenvalues and the electromagnetic fields for various resonant modes are presented. It is shown that the experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical predictions based on this model.
