  • Abstract
    A simple and inexpensive automatic current/voltage characteristics plotter for solar cells and arrays utilising readily available and unsophisticated components has been designed, constructed and used. The array plotter constructed can handle 300 W of power with a maximum voltage of 110 V and maximum current of 10 A, and has an adjustable sweep time in the range 1¿10 s. The accuracy and linearity are better than ± 0.5%, respectively.
