  • Abstract
The development of mathematical models of the nasal passageways, tracheobronchial tree, alveolar and pleural compartments, and blood supply that are used to perform a detailed analysis of the gas exchange in the respiratory system is reported. The aim of the research is to use computer simulation to predict human interaction with underwater diving equipment and other life support systems. Simulation results are given.<>
