Abstract :
A method for improving the accuracy of the numerical solution of dielectric bodies is presented. Its utilization makes the matrix size independent of the relative dielectric constant and reduces its size. It also improves the accuracy of the solution of the Muller formulation when the dielectric constant is high. The root-mean-square (RMS) errors are calculated for dielectric spheres by comparing the numerical solution with the exact solution using Mei series. The magnitude and phase of the surface current distributions are presented. The bistatic radar cross sections of the sphere and finite cylinder, obtained by different formulations, are presented
