Abstract :
A revision of the multiplier of Chung and Bedrosian is presented, which uses the same type of r.o.m. loaded with different data, and can perform both simple-multiply and multiply-accumulate. Certain other simple operations may also be performed. No logic is now needed for decoding the outputs. Overflow stages may for some operations have the r.o.m.s replaced by m.s.i. counters. The meanings of the r.o.m. outputs are given.
