Abstract :
The fertility of microwave-irradiated fruit flies was investigated in an experiment conductedat 40 GHz and at a low power level to avoid thermal effects. In a series of six experiments with 82910 flies, the fertifity of irradiated flies and of their first and second filial generation was determined. No radiation effect was found. This result is contrary to previously pnblished data.
