Abstract
A wavelength-division-multiplexed packet switch that does not use fast tunable lasers nor tunable receivers is proposed. The routing of the packets is achieved by sending the data and local oscillator signals over two different passive fiber networks with different delays. Some considerations about the performance of the system along with a simple experiment to demonstrate the technique are presented.<>
