Abstract :
A new diagram is proposed, useful in evaluating at first sight the low-frequency stability performance of IMPATT-diode circuits. A definition for the low-frequency stability margin is given. The use of the diagram in computing the stability margin is shown. The usefulness of the diagram and of the definition is pointed out.
