Abstract :
Limited or finite rate, feedback is an efficient way to implement beamforming in multiple antenna systems using frequency division duplexing. Unfortunately, closed-form performance analysis of limited feedback beamforming has not been investigated. This paper provides an analytical framework for the correlated limited feedback beamforming problem by treating selection of the beamforming vector from the codebook as a multibranch selection problem.
