Abstract :
A multistage small-signal amplifier is described having, instead of resistors, a current divider in the negative-feedback pad. The current divider is a transistor which has two collectors with very different current gains. In spite of not using any passive components, linear and stable amplification has been achieved, down to input currents of 10¿11 A.
