Abstract :
An accurate method to obtain starting estimates for an E-plane bandpass filter CAD program recently developed by Shih, Itoh, and Bui is presented. Results agree very well with exact values for filter design with relative bandwidths exceeding 10 percent at W-band and D-band and 20 percent at lower frequencies.
