Abstract :
A novel technique for improving the stability of time domain electric field integral equation (TD-EFIE) method is presented. The method involving the introduction of a new class of temporal basis functions employs a modified form of TD-EFIE to generate stable transient responses from arbitrarily shaped conducting objects, which possesses the advantage of simplicity in implementation. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the accuracy and the efficiency of the proposed method
