Abstract :
A method of obtaining efficient operation of transferred-electron oscillators is described which involves matching the device to a circuit which is well known and understood. The basic oscillator structure consists of series transferred-electron devices post mounted in a full-height waveguide cavity. The d.c. bias is derived from a single d.c. source.
