Abstract :
A frequency-shift keyer using the unidirectionality of a 3-phase interdigital transducer is demonstrated. The propagation direction of the surface acoustic wave excited by the 3-phase interdigital transducer is controlled by the polarity of a d.c. pulse applied to a kind of mixing circuit connected with the transducer.
