The use of video-taped course material for the education of electrical and electronics engineers in the United States has developed very rapidly over the past 15 years and is now starting to have profound and far-reaching effects in the United Kingdom on electrical engineering education, research and collaboration between those professional engineers who teach and those who practise their profession.
