Abstract
The surface resistance of the high-T/sub c/ oxides in the low temperature region is studied. The dependence of the losses on the mean free path is evaluated. The peculiar microwave properties of YBa/sub 2/Cu/sub 3/O/sub 7-x/ are explained in the framework of the two-gap model.<>
