Abstract :
By the transformation methods, elliptical and cylindrical striplines and microstrip lines are theoretically analyzed. Rigorous derivations lead to the exact expressions of the characteristic impedance in closed-form. Elliptical microstrip lines are explored for the first time. For practical applications, elliptical and cylindrical striplines with finite thickness are also analyzed.
