Abstract :
A numerical analysis of the stationary magnetic states realized in a planar system of Josephson junctions (JJs) coupled through identical inductances is presented. The flux and current distribution in the system is found in the presence of an external magnetic field applied in the direction orthogonal to the plane of the network after zero field cooling (ZFC). By this analysis a clear definition of the critical current in these types of arrays is given. In the irreversible magnetic regime stationary states quite similar to the approximate states of a critical state model are realized.<>
