Abstract :
A stable high resolution estimator (SHIRE) based on a new weighting function for eigenvectors of an array sensor covariance matrix is proposed for bearing estimation of closely spaced sources. SHIRE is data adaptive and requires no user-defined parameter in its implementation. Numerical results are presented to illustrate the performance achievable
