Abstract :
It is shown that in the internal-tin process for producing multifilamentary Nb/sub 3/Sn, the introduction of Ti into the filaments from the matrix produces properties equivalent to those obtained when the filaments are prealloyed. A fabrication process is based on the tubular tin source approach. Test results are given.<>
