Abstract :
The construction of a large superconducting dipole magnet with a negative curvature side is described. The cryostable coils consist of 350 turns each and operate at 500 A. Support links which support the coil and minimize bobbin deflections have been built and tested. A mapping system which follows the beam trajector is being built. The coil winding, the support links, the assembly, and the field mapper are discussed.<>
