Abstract :
The basic performance of the University of Washington modified Scanditronix SP3000 time-of-flight positron-emission tomograph (PET) has been characterized. Parameters measured include spatial resolution (in-plane and axial), count rate, sensitivity, scatter fraction, and recovery coefficient. Image examples include the Hoffman phantom and F-18 fluoride studies.<>
