  • Abstract
    An expression, valid for all T, is found for the variance of the number of zero crossings during a time T for a narrowband Gaussian noise waveform with a symmetric spectrum. It bears an interesting relationship to the variance of 1/¿ times the waveform´s change in phase during this time.
