Abstract :
Simplified and rigorous mode-matching analyses are applied to find the propagating characteristics of Microslab-a novel, planar waveguiding medium. We also report, for the first time, the coupling of a millimeter-wave GaAs Gunn device directly to Microslab using a monolithic-like structure to produce 0.25 mW of oscillator power at 141 GHz.
